I'm your garden

For those of you who don't know, I love Misty Edwards. She is an amazing worship singer who writes her own songs. Often her songs are just things she sings while meditating on the Lord so they are often very repetitive so if you are listening for fun she is not a good choice but if you want to just wait on the Lord and just think about Him she is a good pick.
She has this one song about being a garden. I don't know the words exactly but she sings...
Here it's You and me alone God
I'm no longer my own, I'm Your garden
Come into Your garden
I want to live on the inside out
There is more but this is the gist of the song. I love this song because it reminds me to go to my private place with the Lord. And depending on how often I visit and what I do during those times determines if my garden is a lovely place or a place of weeds. Right now I would equate myself the the secret garden, once a lovely place well tended but has been neglected for some time. Locked up. But the seeds are planted and still there. With some work and time and with the right hands it can be beautiful again. I hope to get there... I want my garden to be a sacred place.
