Busy Busy Busy

Normally, my days are slow and easy going with few necessary items to be accomplished. I miss those days. This summer has been crazy and it doesn't look like it's going to ease up for at least another month. This past week we had three sets of family come into town and a party to throw. Every night we were out late with family. Going to bed at midnight and waking late and getting up and getting out to spend more time with another family member. Whew! And now we're getting ready to take a trip to see family in KS. So I'm doing laundry that has been neglected and getting the car fixed and cleaned. AND NOW!!! A HURRICANE on the way! WHAT?!?! oh man now I need to prepare myself and family for the chances of a hurricane hitting us. So maybe we won't go to KS after all :( and after our trip that we may or may not go on I have an old college roommate coming into town with her family, a friend to say goodbye to and a birthday party all in one weekend... eeek! I need peace and rest. I need to realize that true peace and rest are not dependent on my circumstances but they come from the Lord.
